Our church belongs to the Jodo Shinshu Hongwanji Ha tradition of Buddhism and the Mother Temple is the Nishi Hongwanji located in Kyoto, Japan.

Fall Schedule Begins

Our regular service schedule begins in September. Please remember to check the calendar!

The first Sunday of every month is the combined Shotsuki/Adult Dharma Service. This includes the monthly memorial service, but anyone is welcome to attend. Our Dharma School/Adult Discussion Services are also open to everyone. Finally, we also have special services, such as Fall Ohigan on September 21 when we celebrate the symbolism of the Fall Equinox, and Ho-onko on November 23, which is a memorial service for the founder of our school of Buddhism. Again, these services are open to anyone.
